National Valuation Services is a leader when it comes to technology

We're just going to come right out and admit something: We thrive on the latest nerdy gadgets. From smart phones, to laptops, GPS, you name it. Call us geeks. Call us nerds. Call us what you will, but by all means, call us at (660) 826-7336 for appraisal orders in Pettis County! Why? We're glad you asked.

In recent years, appraisals have become more difficult than they ever have been before. We put quality first, but we know that turnaround time is a big concern since nobody likes to wait for results. Therefore, we've simply optimized our routine processes to do more in less time. The appraisers that have persistently invested in new technology have been the ones able to provide their customers with more accurate reports, better customer service and faster turnaround times.

Ready to experience the difference a tech savvy appraiser can make? Contact National Valuation Services today!

Ordering and Tracking

Years ago, most of our orders were ordered via fax and were confirmed with phone calls once we got back to the office. Often, in this scenario, it might of taken hours to hear back to see if the order could be taken. These days, when orders are entered on this website, we receive an e-mail on our phones. We often log into this site from the field and send back an e-mail confirmation – including the time and date for the inspection if we've been able to talk to the occupant.

National Valuation Services understands that real estate is all about timeliness. We don't make you wait around for replies because we understand the speed at which we get things done directly effects your bottom-line. Through features on this website, we can actually reduce the amount of time needed for your appraisal.

National Valuation Services believes in working smarter

The appraisal process is nothing if not a detail-oriented procedure. We spend a great deal of time obtaining both specific information about the subject property and general data about the local market and developing trends. National Valuation Services takes advantage of technology to close the gap once again.

We've learned that taking notes regularly, using pencil and paper, generally takes longer since we we have to enter everything back in at the office. Don't be surprised to see us with a tablet PC or collecting data using an app developed for our phones that even lets us sketch a floorplan right on site. Rather than using that clumsy old tape measure, more and more appraisers are beginning to use accurate laser measuring devices that also help measure hard to access areas.

All of this technology ensures that the final report is as thorough and without error as possible. This works to both our advantages by necessitating less time for call-backs and revisions. A real money saver for busy appraisal clients.

Modern appraisal report delivery ensures our clients have a number of ways to get their report

Delivery of appraisals as PDF files through e-mail is definitely the standard these days. Generally our clients are most comfortable with receiving PDFs attached to their e-mail. It's much more efficient than the old days before e-mail. But, we've even been able to improve on e-mail with report delivery with this website.

Everyone knows how frustrating it is to lose a file. Or have you ever had an attachment blocked because of the file size? We have the technology to overcome those problems, too.  When we deliver an appraisal through this website, the client is e-mailed a download link to retrieve the PDF. By bypassing email completely we can get around any problems caused by file size. And the best thing is that the file will be hosted on this site for 90 days. So if anything happens to the file, you can log back in here and retrieve it again - saving you time, since we won't even need to run back to the computer.

Digital Workfile Technology

It would be great if appraisers could never have to think about an assignment again after writing and giving it to the client. But one of the purposes of an appraisal is as a legal document outlining the condition of a property on a specific date. Therefore, appraisers need to keep their reports for 5 years, allowing them to recall any appraisal at any time to either defend the valuation or to be used in other legal proceedings.

Here again, National Valuation Services leverages our investment in technology to improve service. We store every part of the appraisal - notes, sketches, supporting documentation and calculations - along with the appraisal electronically, we skip the outdated file cabinets and only need our computer to recall exactly what that report was about.

These are just a few examples of how we use technology daily. Investing in the right software, services, gadgets and gizmos allows the appraiser to save time without cutting corners and deliver a better product to you, our client.
